Rita Hallé is a familiar sight around the High Country; she has been creating and delivering beautiful cakes for more than 25 years.  She and her family owned Granny's Old Fashioned Donuts of Boone from 1979-1984, and it was during this time that Rita developed her baking and decorating skills.

Rita’s clients include many of the area’s premier resorts, and she consults with individuals to design and create wedding and groom’s cakes according to each couple’s needs and desires.  Delivery and setup of wedding cakes may be arranged for a nominal fee, and Rita can also decorate the cake with fresh flowers of your choice.

Rita, her husband Ray, and their family have lived in Watauga County since moving from southern Florida in 1979. Their grandson Drew Sampson and Erin Acker are now helping Rita with her business; they aspire to keep alive her tradition of quality workmanship and delicious cakes.
